Colorado State University (CSU) is a premier public research university with world class programs in education, research, and outreach.  CSU’s premier standing among universities is increasingly recognized in numerous national rankings.  For many years CSU has been the school of choice for Colorado and has a long-standing legacy of attracting the best and brightest students nationally and internationally. Today our vision is to set the standard for public research institutions in the 21st Century and to meet the great global challenges of our time.

DENVER FOCUS
A greatly enhanced presence in the Denver Metro Area and significantly strengthened engagement with and commitment to our 35,000 alumni and extensive partners and friends is a key priority of CSU’s vision. 

During the past year CSU’s staffing in Denver has increased dramatically and has set the stage to launch a new plan for the Denver Area.  It also provides the opportunity to move away from uncoordinated approaches to an approach coalescing the breadth and depth of CSU’s leadership as the foundation for a new comprehensive and long-lasting Denver Plan.

OBJECTIVE
To build a strong and vibrant CSU-Denver Community that encourages life-long relationships, establishes CSU’s presence in the Denver-Metro Area, and captures CSU’s programmatic strengths in ways that attract Denver interest, involvement, and support.   

We are developing the Denver Young Alumni Initiative (DYAI) for graduates of CSU within the last year under the direction of a full-time alumni relations coordinator working from the Denver Center in 2006.  We are also in the process of creating a value package for young alumni (apparel, discounts, etc.).  If you are interested in connecting with other Alumni in the Denver area, please contact our staff today!
